Diabetes Care

Monitor every minute
without thinking about supply.

Continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, traditional meters and test strips, lancets. We handle the Medicare diabetes supply rules so you don't lose coverage between refills.

What's in Diabetes Care

What we provide.

CGM systems

Dexcom (G6/G7) and Freestyle Libre (2/3 Plus). We confirm CGM-coverage qualification (insulin use, sensor type) and route the prescription.

Insulin pumps + supplies

Tubed and tubeless pumps, infusion sets, reservoirs, pods. Coordinated with your CGM if you're on a hybrid closed-loop system.

Glucose meters + test strips

Traditional fingerstick meters and Medicare-allowed test strip quantities. Lower-tech, lower-cost option when CGM isn't the right fit.

Lancets + ongoing resupply

Lancets, control solution, alcohol prep — the everyday consumables. Auto-shipped on Medicare's exact allowed cadence.

Why diabetes patients pick Affinity

Coverage confirmed.
Supplies on cadence.
No gaps.

  • CGM qualification confirmed before order

Medicare covers CGM when you meet specific criteria (insulin use + frequent self-monitoring, or non-insulin with documented hypoglycemia). We confirm qualification before equipment ships.

  • Pump + CGM coordinated as one order

If you're moving to a hybrid closed-loop system (pump + CGM that talk to each other), we order both as one workflow — not two separate billing chases.

  • Auto-resupply on Medicare's exact cadence

CMS allows specific quantities per period (sensors, strips, lancets). We auto-ship on the schedule that doesn't trigger denial — no early reorders that get bounced.

  • Brand switch handled by us, not you

Switching from Dexcom to Libre or vice versa? We move the prescription, confirm coverage on the new system, and bridge the supply gap so you never go dark.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does Medicare cover a CGM?
Yes, if you meet the criteria: you're on insulin and require frequent blood-glucose monitoring, OR you have non-insulin-treated diabetes with documented hypoglycemic episodes. We confirm your qualification before ordering. Coverage rules expanded recently — if you were denied before, it's worth re-checking.
Can I switch from one CGM brand to another?
Yes. You'll need a new prescription for the new system. We move the prescription, confirm coverage on the new system (some plans cover one brand preferentially), and bridge the supply gap so you don't go without monitoring.
How often do my CGM sensors and strips ship?
Medicare allows specific quantities per period — typically one sensor every 10 days (Dexcom G6/G7) or 14 days (Libre 2/3 Plus). Test strips and lancets ship on a 30 or 90-day cadence depending on your prescribed test frequency. We auto-ship on the schedule that won't trigger denial.
I have an insulin pump. Can you handle pump supplies too?
Yes — infusion sets, reservoirs, pods (for tubeless), and pump-CGM integration are all in our catalog. If you're on a hybrid closed-loop system (pump + CGM talking to each other), we coordinate both as one order.
